4th annual Okinawa-American Shootout Basketball Tourney

I would like to say a big thanks to those who worked to make the 4th Annual Okinawa-American Shootout Basketball Tourney a success. Without the support provided by the American Consulate, The Okinawa Basketball Assoc. and the Steering commitee headed by Mr. Fred Bales(Kubasaki HS) it would not have been a success. Thanks to the commitee members Mr. Ron Sharik(DODDS), Mr. Waniya(Okinawa Basketball Assoc.), Mr. Hayashi(American Consulate), Mr. Masashiro(DODDS), Mr. Jeff Brown(MCCS & Koza HS Boy's Coach), Mr. Jon Fick(Kubasaki HS Boy's Coach), Mr. Bob Bliss(Kadena HS Boy's Coach) and MCCS Semper Fit for hosting the Event at the Foster Field House.

And last but not least to all of the great players and fans who came out and made the event a success. The tourney showed that there is more to the game than just competing, it is the friendships that were made during this time that will last longer than the memories of the game.

Thanks to all for making Okinawa Basketball the best in Japan!
