We were presented with our Regular Season Western Conference Championship banner at our Saturday night game by the BJ League Commissioner Mr. Kawachi. It was a great honor for our Team to recieve this award as it showed that all of our hard work this season was for all of Okinawa and not just the Ryukyu Golden Kings.
Thanks to Mr.Kawachi and the BJ Legaue for their support of Basketball in Japan. It is through the hardwork and dedication of all of the BJ League Teams and Staff and Fans who support us all that the BJ League will prosper and be the benchmark of Organizations for the future not just in Japan but throughout the world.

Another great set of games this past weekend. Saturday's game was an exciting game from start to finish. We were able to build a 12 point lead going into the final period and went up by as much as 18. Shiga was able to close within 5 with 8 seconds to play but we were able to hold on to the 78 - 73 win.
Sunday saw us start out a little slower and keep the game close and saw us get within 3 at 33 - 36 at the break. A big part of the lead Shiga had was attributed to their ability to get offensive rebounds and get second chance attempts.
We came out and played very well in the 3rd period. We did a better job of boxing out and get the loose balls and limiting Shiga's second chance shots.
It was a great defensive effort on our whole teams part.

We also set a BJ League record for the highest winning percentage in one season and the most wins in a season. Great job to the whole Team!

We will take a few minutes to savor our successful regular season and then we will shift of focus to preparing for the Playoffs and facing Fukuoka in the first ever playoff game in Okinawa history.

Thanks to all of our great fans and their support of Kings basketball.
