Western Conference Regular Season #1

As another great weekend in Kings Basketball comes to an end we wrapped up the #1 spot in the Western Conference Playoffs. We accomplished this by defeating the Takamatsu Five arrows in two action packed games. Both games were great accomplishments and we over came a day of not so good play on Saturday and had many turnovers that attributed to the score being so close and having to go to overtime to win the game. We won the Saturday game 94 - 86 behind the great effort of Shige with 35 points and the help of many others.
Sunday was a much better game for us as we took better care of the ball. An all around great effort by all of our players and coaches as we won the game 94 - 84 to clinch the #1 Home playoff spot for the season.

Congratulations to the whole Kings organization for a such a great accomplishment!

Now we must stay focused on our remaining regular season games and go in to the playoffs with our confidence high. Once the playoffs start it is a whole new season and no matter if we beat a team 1 time or 8 times in the regular season that does not matter once the playoffs start. We have to stay focused on our goal.

"One game at a time, play every second".
