Home Games vs. Oita

As we prepare for our home games vs. Oita we look forward to another exciting weekend in Kings Basketball. As many of you may know that Oita is Coach Dai, Taketo Aoki (TK) and Chris Ayer's former team. All three were a part of the HeatDevils team in the 07 - 08 BJ League season which saw them miss the playoffs by one game.

Coach Dai is a great coach and brings a wealth of knowledge of the game of basketball to the Kings organization and is a proven leader on and off the court. He is the heart of the team and we all function around him as a TEAM.

Taketo aka. T.K. is a proven veteran in Japanese Professional basketball. He brings years of experience in pro basketball in japan to the Kings and we all look up to him for his veteran leadership and knowledge of the game. T.K. was very instrumental in all of our wins so far this season and very much so this past weekend in Osaka grabbing offensive rebounds and hustling after loose balls and playing great defense. He was big!

Chris Ayer aka. Big Chris, The Beast and any other moniker we can give him, played big minutes for us last weekend also and will be expected to do the same and more this weekend. Chris has become a dominant force in the middle for us and will only get better as we progrees through the season. Let's go Beast!

As I always say "One game at a time". Let's take care of business and play some Kings Basketball.
